How the MZ generation likes to have the interior lighting, found by Hyeonju

A part of Hyeonju’s Master thesis is published in the Archives of Design Research(AoDR) entitled “Participatory Research on the Preference for Residential Lighting: The Living Space of Generation MZ [사용자 참여 방법을 이용한 주거 환경 조명 선호도 조사: MZ 세대의 생활 공간을 중심으로]”. The study investigated how college students liked to have interior lighting, and Hyeonju deliberately invited the participants after having screened their expertise and interest in interior design. For participatory research, she furnished a light room with diverse types of light-embedded objects and recorded participants’ traits and optical characteristics to derive qualitative and quantitative insights. The study was carried out during the industry-academia project with Coway.

The AoDR is an open-access journal, and the full text is available here.
