Byeongjin and Prof. Suk recently participated in the Lighting Workshop hosted by New York University in Prague. At the event, they showcased Color Lab’s latest research findings and projects related to light to attendees from the US, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, and the Czech Republic. Given its multidisciplinary nature, the field of lighting attracts expertise and interest from diverse perspectives. Color Lab’s work, particularly their experiments with light involving human subjects, garnered significant interest. Additionally, the workshop was an opportunity for learning from partners, including insights into design education focused on lighting. In response to the discussions and connections made at the workshop, Color Lab has proposed a collaborative research initiative aimed at combating light pollution. This initiative is expected to further develop and expand our global research network.
