Invited by LX Hausys, Prof. Suk delivered a seminar talk titled ‘CMF Designer를 위한 애정연구 [Design Methods and Case Studies of Quantitative Approaches in CMF Design].’ Often, CMF is considered as the final phase, primarily for enhancing the design, leading to intuitive decision-making as a natural process. This has resulted in a lack of scientific rigor in analytical approaches for practice. However, with the business shifting from B2B to B2C, CMF design now needs to be planned in a more customized manner than ever before. Prof. Suk demonstrated how CMF can benefit from the big data collected from SNS platforms. In particular, her seminar covered different perspectives, ranging from mid-level managers to CEOs, as their core concerns differ. Colorlab acknowledges its responsibility in this field and aims to foster the competence necessary to contribute to the advancement of CMF design in both research and practice.
