On Korea Society of Color Studies Spring Conference 2015, Kyeong Ah Jeong presented her recent study entitled, “Affective Effect by Articulation of the Speed and Color Attributes of a Video [영상의 배속과 색채 요소의 조합에 따른 감성적 효과].” Kyungah Choi has co-authored the paper. Their study aims to investigate how speed and color attribute of video affect to the emotional response. This study proposes combinations of visual attributes to deliver desired emotions. The conference was hosted by Young Nam University.
Abstract
본 연구는 영상의 배속과 색채 요소의 조합으로 강조될 수 있는 감성적 표현에 대해 탐색하고자 하였다. 일반인이 자가 촬영한 영상 53점을 대상으로 배속, 색상, 채도, 밝기, 대비의 속성을 제어하여 원본 대비 어떠한 감성이 다르게 표현될 수 있는가에 대하여 실험연구를 진행하였다. 대학생 30명을 대상으로 응답을 얻은 결과, 대비와 배속이 다른 속성에 비해 상대적으로 중요한 속성임을 밝혀내었다. 본 연구에서는 실험 연구에서 도출된 결과를 토대로 특정 감성을 효과적으로 표현할 수 있는 조합을 제안하고자 한다.
