Prof.Suk won the grand prize for creative teaching in the commemoration of the 44th anniversary of founding in 2015. The award winning class is the ED200, “Light, Color, and Life [빛, 생명, 그리고 색채]” co-lectured by Prof.Chulhee Choi of the Department of Brain and Bio Engineering and Prof.YongKeun Park of the Department of Physics. The course is a unique attempt to offer undergraduate students to experience theory and practical applications of light in different perspectives. The three professors have published a text book, “Theories and Applications of Light” and delivered an online lecture for approx. 8000 people around the world through MOOC(Massive Open Online Course) program. Their continuous efforts and endeavors have been acknowledged and appreciated.
