Kyeong Ah Jeong attended CIE 2017’s workshop session to make an oral presentation entitled, “c.light: a tool for generating lighting ideas in real-time”. She proposed a new light prototyping tool that enables designers to materialize both tangible and intangible aspects of lighting concepts. Through multiple workshops with graduate-level designers and professionals, we have found that c.light enhances the diversity of created lighting concepts and also promotes active co-creation among designers. In addition, we confirmed that c.light could be used as a useful tool to construct stimuli for empirical evaluations. In the workshop session, she had a chance to share implications of c.light as a light prototyping tool.
